Founders

Anthony Guarascio

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Anthony Guarascio grew up within his family’s plumbing company, being groomed to take over since he was a child. He attended college at Florida Gulf Coast University. In Anthony’s early years his father, after suffering a severe car accident, became addicted to prescription opioids. Sadly, this addiction destroyed the family business. At a young age, Anthony had to step up to take care of his family, which resulted in the creation of several companies. His now wife was very interested in photography and so Anthony started Wanderlust Photography, which has now become a national real estate photography company. However, growing up seeing what an opioid addiction can do to a business and a family, Anthony’s heart had always been intent on circling back to address the problem head on. 

Leveraging his experience in his other enterprises, he eventually found his way into medical technologies, hopeful to prevent future families from enduring similar experiences that he endured. After looking at many potential solutions to the epidemic, Anthony identified what he believed was the heart of the problem, and invented a solution to help fix the problem at its source. He then co-founded Spyglass with Richard Ribellino to market and deploy their solution world wide. 

Anthony resides in Naples Fl with his wife, and their two Goldendoodle Puppies. 

Richard Ribellino

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

A New York Native, Richard began running his family’s companies before he finished High School. Eventually he branched out and formed other successful entities in real estate that would later help compliment and add tremendous value to his main real estate holdings. Richard has directly rented over 3,000,000 ft.² and managed them all when he was just a teenager. He has also successfully transformed the landscape of what is now some of New York’s most valuable real estate, which has been very beneficial for the other property owners in his area’s of New York. He also has had other interests in Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management.

Richard has now moved to a new passion of his which is to help the country fight back against Prescription Abuse, of which he has unfortunately seen the devastating affects firsthand from family and close friends. He has quickly learned the nuances of the pharmaceutical business which is completely different from his Real Estate ventures, but as he always said business is business. He is excited at the opportunity to make a tangible impact for the families that have been through so much pain in their life. Richard resides in both Naples Fl and Saddle River NJ with his beautiful wife of 20 years and his 4 children. Thank you, God Bless, and let’s continue to make America Great!

James Oliver

General Counsel

Jim was born in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1988. After graduating from Notre Dame, Jim worked for the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young and obtained his New York CPA license. He started the internal audit department for Datascope, a global publicly traded medical device manufacturer, and is a skilled forensic auditor. He then went on to receive his JD from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2000 where he graduated cum laude. Jim’s experience also includes work in executive positions with the global investment firm of KKR as well as DHL Supply Chain. 

 

Rick Rondinelli

Pharmacy Operations

Rick’s aspiration as a child was to own the corner pharmacy. This affinity for a highly personal touch in pharmaceutical services has guided him for the last 30 years. After college, Rick managed a Walgreens retail pharmacy and the Long-Term Care Division of Griffith Drug Company. His experience led him to co-found and serve for nine years as Vice-President of Operations and three years as CEO of Care Pharmaceutical Services. The company attracted the attention of national investors and was sold during Rick’s tenure. He continued his leadership role for an additional seven years.

His entrepreneurial spirit caused him to consider a new kind of pharmaceutical services model, but it was a sense of purpose, a passion for customer service and a belief in highly automated systems that led Rick to found In Touch Pharmaceuticals in 2004.  Rick started the company with not one customer. Since the company’s founding, In Touch Pharmaceuticals has experienced exponential, systematic growth to include 27 staff pharmacists and over 156 employees. The company has developed industry-leading pharmaceutical services solutions that mirror Rick’s initial vision for highly personalized, automated systems that reduce error and waste and increase profitability for its many customers.

Cynthia Henderson

Head of Governmental Affairs

Cynthia began her career as an attorney and public affairs consultant to help clients succeed in land development, land use contracts, land management, real estate development, environmental permitting and administrative approvals for national, state and local projects. Having more than 14 years of experience in these arenas, Cynthia was recruited and appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to serve as the Secretary of Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Secretary of the Department of Management Services. During this time Cynthia’s was tasked with implementing two gargantuan online programs where she was successful in passing legislation and negotiating contracts to initiate People First and My Florida Marketplace.

She also created integrated online licensing and phone systems to help implement and execute these programs. In the midst of these priority-driven projects, Cynthia was running daily state agency functions, managing multi-million dollar budgets for each agency as well as thousands of staff members. Cynthia incorporated Cynergy in 2003. She has been successfully gaining clients based on her vast expertise and her ongoing and growing relationships with both the executive and the legislative branches of government. She is a Florida Bar Attorney, Florida Real Estate Agent, Florida Real Estate Broker, and was licensed Legal Insurance Agent with Florida Department of Financial Services.

Lauren Whritenour

Governmental Affairs

Most recently, Lauren Whritenour was highlighted as one of the top 30 under 30 rising stars in Florida politics. Lauren graduated Florida State University’s in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in English and Political Science. She married her husband, Jeff Whritenour, in November 2018. They have two children together Parker & Hailey Mae. 

Lauren has been active in political events, fund raising and surrounded by the legislative process for more than 10 years. She’s worked on campaigns for high profile candidates. 

In 2015, she officially joined Cynergy in a fulltime capacity and wears many hats for this forward-thinking organization. During committee weeks and legislative session, Lauren on top of lobbying key client issues, she manages office staff, handles legislative tracking and meeting logistics, client meetings and event planning, legislative calendars, legislative data tracking systems and client reporting for the firm. 

Lauren has worked on legislative and rulemaking issues concerning subject areas like: pari-mutuel wagering, online procurements, water issues, trade secrets for business entities, rule-making for assisted living facilities, health care/Medicaid and licensing with the executive branch. During the off-session months, Lauren works on state agency and executive branch issues to make sure they align with client goals.

 

Steve Yatko

Chief Technical Advisor

Steve Yatko is the founder and CEO of Oktay Technology. Steve has over 25+ years of advanced enterprise IT systems and technology leadership experience as a result of leading his own boutique consulting firm, Oktay Technology, and leading mission critical development initiatives at Credit Suisse.

As founder of Oktay Technology Steve has led his boutique consulting firm of IT Experts over the past eleven years into multi-year strategic technology advisory partnerships with some of the most innovative and successful firms on Wall Street, including Bank of America, Swift, Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Wells Fargo, State Street, DriveWealth, Liquidnet and Bridgewater Associates.

Oktay’s technology leadership and tight relationships help firms gain significant advancement into new age state of the art Big Data Analytic systems, Cloud, AI and the most advanced technically architected Trading Systems in the world. Steve has also lead large scale innovation programs for firms in Healthcare such as CareFinders Total Care’s CTO Office and Development organization and Transportation Authorities such as New Jersey Transit, the third largest transit agency in the nation.

Previously, Steve was a Managing Director and Global Head of the IT Research & Development at Credit Suisse including over fourteen years of driving innovative technology into solutions that differentiated Credit Suisse’s Trading and Analytics technology platform. In this role, Steve was responsible for setting the direction of the Firm’s next generation computing environment across all of its IT divisions. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, Steve also served as Head of Global Core Technologies and CTO of Mission Critical Systems, including the authoring of the Firm’s World Class Global Equity Trading system.

Throughout his career, Steve has worked closely with serial Entrepreneurs, top Venture Capital firms around the world, and some of the world’s largest technology providers including being a selected member of several CTO Advisory boards such as Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, EMC, HP, IBM Research, Veritas, and Cisco.

Additionally, Steve is currently a senior technology advisor to Starr Investment Holdings, CEO and co-founder of Renascence Development, LLC, a boutique custom software development firm focused on modern application and system development across healthcare, financial services, transportation, and Fintech.  Steve also advises several state of the art enterprise technology startups across several hi-tech domains such as cyber security, enterprise infrastructure, AI, cloud and modern informatics and data processing.

 

Joseph Bova

New York Governmental Affairs

 

Joseph A. Bova is the male state committee member for the 49th Assembly District. Was born on December 14, 1952, married to Janet Fenn on June 27, 1981, and have two children, Jonathan and Jessica. Is an elected member of the NYS Democratic Committee from the 49th in Brooklyn.

 

Additionally, Mr. Bova serves as the Secretary of the Kings County Democratic County Committee and the Executive Committee of the Kings County Democratic Organization. Has been an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist ay Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for 37 years besides being active in numerous parish organizations. I am a former member of the Bishop’s Diocesan Pastoral Council. I am also the Past President of the Cathedral Club of Brooklyn, the oldest Catholic organization in Brooklyn. Former Chairman of Community Board 10 in Brooklyn, and has also served as Past President of the Bensonhurst Lions Club and the Bay Ridge Forum.

Additionally, has served as a former member of the Advisory Boards of both the Brooklyn Salvation Army and Victory Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Archbishop John Hughes Council Knights of Columbus. In September 1997, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, at the behest of his Holiness John Paul ll, John Cardinal O’Conner invested Joseph (along with others) as a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. This is a Pontifical Knighthood that traces its origin to the First Crusaders, in 1099.

On October 1, 2008 was inducted as a Companion of Merit, to the American Society of the Italian Legions of Merit. This honor, bestowed upon him, the title of Cavaliere of the Republic of Italy. It is the purpose of the Society to do everything to maintain and strengthen to the relationship between the United States and Italy.
